Botany Manor's PlayStation Release Date Set for January 28th
Botany Manor, the critically acclaimed puzzle game, finally has a PlayStation release date: January 28th, 2025. Initially slated for December 17th, 2024, the PS4 and PS5 versions were delayed to allow for additional refinement.
Originally launched in April 2024 on Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, Botany Manor quickly garnered praise, establishing itself as a top-tier puzzle game. The PlayStation port, initially announced for December 17th, experienced a delay announced by publisher Whitethorn Games on December 16th, 2024, prioritizing a polished player experience. The new January 28th release date was confirmed on January 9th, 2025.
While the release date is set, a PlayStation Store page is still pending. The game is expected to be priced at $24.99, consistent with other platforms, and will remain free of microtransactions. Unlike the Steam version, a separate digital soundtrack is unlikely to be offered on the PlayStation Store.
Botany Manor Enhances PlayStation's Puzzle Game Lineup
Botany Manor's strong reception, reflected in its "Strong" OpenCritic rating (83/100, 92% recommendation), highlights its charming atmosphere, inventive puzzles, and engaging exploration. Its addition to the PlayStation catalog significantly strengthens the platform's already impressive puzzle game selection.
With the PlayStation launch, Botany Manor will be available on all initially planned platforms. Developer Balloon Studios hasn't yet announced their next project. January 28th also marks the PlayStation Store debut of other noteworthy titles: the roguelite Cuisineer, the action RPG Eternal Strands, and the tactical stealth game The Sone of Madness.
