🌙 The screen flickers to life, casting a pale blue glow across the room. A soft hum fills the air—like distant radio static wrapped in whispers. The words appear one by one, slow and deliberate, as if breathing through the silence.

🔴 New Story Unlocked: "The Girl in the Mirror That Wasn’t There"
You’re alone in your bedroom.
It’s 2:17 a.m.
The clock ticks like a heartbeat.
Outside, the wind stirs the trees—just one branch, tapping. Tap. Tap. Tap.
You’re scrolling through old photos on your phone.
A childhood picture of you and your little sister, Lily.
She’s smiling. She’s wearing her red sweater.
You remember that sweater. It was yours. You wore it to school on the first day of fifth grade.
But Lily…
She never went to school.
She died in the basement that winter.
Frost on the floor. No heat.
They said she froze.
But you know what you saw that night.
You saw her standing at the top of the stairs.
Looking down.
Smiling.
And now—
She’s in your mirror.
Not behind you.
Not beside you.
She’s in the glass.
You blink.
She blinks back.
[You]: "Lily? Is that you?"
The mirror doesn’t reflect your face anymore.
It shows the basement.
The wooden door. The rusted latch.
And Lily—her—standing in the corner.
She’s not wearing the red sweater.
She’s wearing your clothes.
And she’s holding your phone.
She mouths the words:
“You left me.”
[You]: "No—I didn’t. I was scared. I was just a kid."
A whisper now, not from your lips.
From the mirror.
“But you came back.”
The glass ripples—like water.
And then—
She steps out.
Not through the mirror.
Through you.
You feel it.
Cold. Like ice sliding under your skin.
Your fingers twitch.
You try to scream.
But your mouth opens—
And she speaks.
“Now I’m home.”
