Starting today, Amazon has significantly reduced the price of the latest 2025 11th-generation Apple iPad (A16) tablet. All four available colors—Blue, Yellow, Pink, and Silver—featuring 128GB of storage and Wi-Fi connectivity are now priced at $299, reflecting a $50 discount. This is the most substantial price drop we've seen for the newest iPad since its release earlier this year, making it an excellent Mother's Day gift idea, with the holiday falling on May 11th. Such a significant discount on a recently launched iPad is rare, and we don't expect this sale to last more than a few days.
Update: Last week, the price of these iPads was reduced from $349 to $319. This week, the price has dropped again to $299. Additionally, while only the Blue and Yellow models were discounted previously, all four colors are now on sale.

2$349.00 save 14%$299.00 at AmazonFor most users, the standard iPad (as opposed to the Air, Mini, or Pro models) is the ideal choice. It delivers all the advantages of iOS, along with responsive performance, at a very accessible price point. The current-generation model was released on March 12, 2025, over two years after its predecessor (launched in October 2022). Key upgrades include a more powerful processor (A16 versus A14), increased RAM (6GB versus 4GB), and more base storage (128GB versus 64GB). Perhaps best of all, its launch price of $349 is actually *lower* than the previous generation's initial price of $399.
Specs that remain unchanged include the 10.9-inch Liquid Retina 2360x1640 (264ppi) display, USB Type-C charging, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, and the camera system. It's also compatible with the Magic Folio keyboard, allowing you to transform it into a compact laptop for improved productivity, making it one of the best iPads for students. It also supports the newer USB-C Apple Pencil.

Apple's premier AirPods are also discounted ahead of Mother's Day. The second-generation Apple AirPods Pro wireless noise-canceling earbuds are on sale for just $169 shipped (regularly $240). For iPhone users, the AirPods Pro deliver the best audio experience among "truly wireless" earbuds, thanks to their passively isolating in-ear design, exceptional active noise cancellation, a low-distortion driver and amplifier, and the powerful Apple H2 chip.
