The film adaptation of Split Fiction is officially underway, as reported by Variety, with a bidding war erupting among major Hollywood studios for the movie rights.

According to Variety insiders, Story Kitchen—a production company specializing in adapting games and unconventional IPs for film and TV—is finalizing a package deal involving writers, directors, and cast members. The same team previously handled Hazelight Studios' upcoming It Takes Two movie adaptation. Their other notable projects include the Sonic the Hedgehog films and Netflix’s Tomb Raider: The Legend of Lara Croft.
