- The latest season of Once Human arrives with the Visional Wheel expansion
- Harness Deviant powers through the innovative Fusion system
- Explore fresh Deviant Zones and battle formidable new bosses
Once Human’s blend of cryptid lore, conspiracy theories, and fast-paced shooter gameplay has made it a standout hit. NetEase shows no signs of slowing down, delivering a wave of exciting content heading into 2026.
As anticipated, Season Three—titled Visional Wheel—brings expansive new territories and challenging foes to conquer. The main highlight is the Fusion mechanic, which lives up to its name by transforming how you interact with enemies.
While battling Deviants—monstrous creatures wielding supernatural abilities—you can now fuse your body with select special individuals. This process not only changes your appearance and unlocks unique skills but also allows you to equip a headgear item modeled after the specific foe you fused with.
Beyond Human Limits
The Fusion mechanic is essential for survival in Season Three’s evolved Deviant Zones, where toxic atmospheres demand enhanced capabilities to breathe and explore safely.
Three distinct zones await: the Wild Deviant Zone, dominated by massive beasts requiring close-quarters combat; the Mirror Zone, featuring disorienting terrain with attacks emerging from reflective surfaces; and the Phantasmal Zone, where illusions blur with reality. You’ll also face three new powerful Deviants: The Devourer, Sonivore, and Hoarder Bug. Each brings unique abilities and rewards but will put up a fierce fight.
