The Guardians of the Road initiative has been revitalized with a new app, featuring a more convenient and refined user experience.

The "Guardians of the Road - Our Shared Path" project was launched in 2016 to raise awareness and promote more careful, safe driving. Since January 1, 2023, the project has been managed by the "Safe Path" association.

Any citizen aged 18 or older can download the "Road Guards" app and begin using it to report traffic violations.

Using the app is simple and quick. Activate it before you start driving, and when you witness a traffic offense, engage the reporting feature. You can initiate a report in one of two ways: using a voice command or pressing the Bluetooth button on your steering wheel. The app will then begin recording and documenting the violation.

These reports are sent to the central control center, which is staffed by volunteer traffic controllers with extensive experience. After review, a "Notice on the Way" letter containing a link to the violation video is sent to the documented driver. In cases of life-threatening offenses, the project's report is forwarded to the police for further action.
