MotorData Hybrid is the top automotive software for diagnosing Toyota and Lexus hybrid models. It works with OBD2 scanner tools supporting OBD2, EOBD, and JOBD protocols.
This software does more than just read trouble codes and clear the Check Engine light. The app helps you check the status of your hybrid system, hybrid battery, inverter, gasoline engine, transmission, ABS, SRS, VSC, air conditioning, and other hybrid vehicle systems.
The app enables monitoring of key data from high-voltage system components:
• Hybrid high-voltage battery cell temperatures
• Inverter, MG1, and MG2 temperatures
• HV battery diagnostics (SOC and Delta SOC)
• HV battery internal resistance
• HV battery cell voltage
It also reads live data from the engine and brake control systems (e.g., speed, acceleration, RPM, temperature, pressure, oxygen sensor data, short-term and long-term fuel trims, torque sensor data, and other hybrid vehicle characteristics).
The app can display various parameters as real-time graphs.
Data monitoring helps you react immediately to any irregularities and avoid costly repairs to your hybrid powertrain system.
The diagnostic program allows reading DTCs, clearing fault codes, and reading Freeze Frame data. It includes a built-in list of P0xxx and P2xxx trouble codes with detailed descriptions.

Before buying, we recommend a free trial to test the app with your car, ELM327 adapter, and mobile device. Correct app operation with some adapters based on protocol v2.1 is not guaranteed, as these interfaces often malfunction. Sometimes, non-functional v2.1 adapters are sold as version 1.5.
