This high-quality implementation of the popular card game Durak (Fool) lets you play offline, without an internet connection, using decks of 24, 36, or 52 cards. Durak, also known as Fool or Dumb, is a widely played card game originating in the former Soviet Union.
This version features two main variants: "Flip Fool" (Durak podkidnoy) and "Transferable Fool" (Durak Perevodnoy). While sharing core similarities, each variant offers unique strategic elements.
The objective remains consistent: be the first to discard all your cards. The last player holding cards is declared the "Fool" (Durak).
Flip Fool, the classic version, involves attacking and defending players. If the attacker runs out of cards to play, the player to the defender's left plays a single card. Play then cycles clockwise.
Transferable Fool adds a layer of complexity. From the second turn onward, the defending player can "transfer" a played card by placing a card of the same rank but different suit on the table, shifting the attack to the next player clockwise. This "transfer" mechanic is not allowed on the first turn. If you possess a trump card of the same rank as a card played against you, and wish to cover instead of transfer, drag your trump card onto the card you wish to cover.
