Think you can identify famous people from around the world? How many can you name?
This app features 476 iconic men and women from history: kings and queens, politicians, musicians, actors, and film directors. Can you identify the portraits and earn every star in every level?
Spanning from Alexander the Great to Benjamin Franklin, Joan of Arc to Fred Astaire, and Louis Armstrong to Winston Churchill.
This is a unique quiz of history and art. Questions are split into two difficulty levels.
Level 1 - 123 well-known figures, such as Julius Caesar and Alfred Hitchcock.
Level 2 - 122 more challenging individuals to identify, including Blaise Pascal, Igor Sikorsky, and other key philosophers, inventors, and rulers.
Plus four specialized categories:
1) Writers (William Shakespeare and Leo Tolstoy);
2) Composers (Johann Sebastian Bach and Leonard Bernstein);
3) Painters (Michelangelo and Georgia O'Keeffe) and Paintings: Identify the painter from their artwork (for example, 'Mona Lisa' corresponds to Leonardo da Vinci).
4) Scientists (Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin).
Each level offers multiple game modes:
* Spelling quizzes (available in easy and hard difficulty).
* Multiple-choice questions (with 4 or 6 options). You only have 3 lives, so choose wisely.
* Time challenge: Provide as many correct answers as possible within 1 minute—score 25 or more to earn a star.
Two study tools let you explore all featured celebrities without playing a game:
* Flashcards display a brief biography for each person and a link to their full encyclopedia entry.
* Tables for each level.
The app is available in 24 languages, including English, French, Spanish, and German.
