Sony has unveiled an exciting lineup of games for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog in May 2025, offering a diverse array of titles for Extra and Premium subscribers. Announced via a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, the new additions are set to enhance the gaming experience starting May 20, catering to a wide range of gaming preferences and genres.
For PlayStation Plus Extra members, the update brings a robust selection of nine new titles across PS4 and PS5 platforms. Leading the charge is Sand Land, an action RPG based on the beloved manga by Akira Toriyama. Other notable additions include Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter has been enhanced for the PS5, with the upgrade also available for PC and Xbox Series X | S. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive this Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains uncertain whether this applies to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Premium subscribers are in for a treat with the addition of a classic title, Battle Engine Aquila. This sci-fi action game, available on both PS4 and PS5, lets players pilot a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies in both aerial and ground combat.
