2025 Razer Blade with RTX 50-Series GPU Exclusive at Razer.com

Author : Peyton May 07,2025

Razer's highly anticipated 2025 lineup of gaming laptops, the Razer Blade 16 and Razer Blade 18, are now exclusively available for purchase at Razer.com and Razer stores. The Razer Blade 16, with shipping starting as early as late April, offers three different configurations. The base model with an RTX 5070 Ti starts at $2,999.99, the RTX 5080 configuration is priced at $3,499.99, and the top-tier RTX 5090 model comes in at $4,499.99. Unfortunately, the Razer Blade 18 is currently out of stock.

Razer Blade laptops are renowned for their superior build quality, featuring a chassis crafted from a single piece of aluminum, making them exceptionally thin and light for gaming laptops. Razer's proprietary cooling system, which includes a vacuum-sealed, liquid-filled, copper vapor chamber, ensures efficient heat dissipation, enabling the laptop's sleek design. This level of engineering, akin to that of Apple MacBook Pros, justifies the premium pricing of Razer Blade laptops compared to other mainstream brands.

We've reviewed an RTX 5090 mobile laptop.

Our benchmarks confirm that the RTX 5090 is the new top-tier mobile GPU, though the improvement over the RTX 4090 it replaces is modest, ranging from 5% to 10%. However, when DLSS 4 is utilized, the performance gap expands significantly.

RTX 5090 Mobile Review by Jacqueline Thomas

"If you already own a decent gaming laptop, the RTX 5090 might not be worth the upgrade. The performance gains are minimal compared to the excellent RTX 4090. However, if you're in the market for a high-end gaming laptop, the RTX 5090's features like multi-frame generation and battery boost make it a compelling choice for premium laptops powered by Nvidia's latest technology."
