Adin Ross Recommits to Kick, Hints at "Bigger" Plans
Popular streamer Adin Ross has confirmed his continued presence on the Kick streaming platform, dispelling rumors of his departure. Ross's unexpected absence in 2024 sparked speculation, but his recent return with a new livestream, alongside Cuffem, Shaggy, and Konvy, confirms his commitment to Kick.
Ross, known for his controversial yet engaging content, joined Kick after a Twitch ban in 2023. His move, alongside other prominent streamers, significantly contributed to Kick's growth. While he enjoyed success in 2023, his sudden hiatus in 2024 fueled rumors of a rift with Kick CEO Ed Craven. However, a December 21, 2024 livestream with Craven and a subsequent tweet from Ross confirmed his intention to remain on the platform long-term. This marks a significant shift after months of hinting at a potential exit. His January 4, 2025 livestream, his first in 74 days, solidified this commitment.
Ambitious Future Plans on the Horizon
Ross's tweet also hinted at "something even bigger" in the works, fueling speculation among fans. Many believe this relates to his Brand Risk boxing events, a project he aims to expand with Kick's support. Given previous legal issues with Misfits Boxing earlier in 2024, successful future ventures will require careful planning and execution.
Ross's decision is a significant boost for both his fanbase and Kick, which continues to gain traction by securing deals with top-tier streamers. Kick's co-founder, Bijan Tehrani, previously expressed ambitions to either surpass or acquire Twitch – a bold goal that, considering Kick's current momentum, seems increasingly plausible.
