Two brand-new Pokémon from the Galar region are making their debut, offering both cute and powerful options to spice up your collection. The Sweet Discoveries event, running from April 24th to 29th, introduces the adorable Dragon/Grass-type Pokémon, Applin. Catching Applin is just the start—evolve it using 200 Applin Candy and either Tart Apples (for Flapple) or Sweet Apples (for Appletun). These apples can be found randomly in the wild, especially near Mossy Lures, and may even trigger Applin encounters.
During Sweet Discoveries, keep an eye out for other Galarian newcomers like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and the festive Delibird. Field Research tasks and Eggs provide additional opportunities to encounter themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Timed Research offers Sweet and Tart Apples, with premium versions providing extra Mossy Lure Modules and additional encounters, including Applin.
Wild spawns during this period also include Munchlax and Cherubi, adding to the excitement. For those who prefer fiery power over fruity charm, mark your calendars for the Max Battle Weekend on April 26th–27th, where Dynamax Entei takes center stage. Who knows?
