New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft showcases the enhanced PC version of Assassin's Creed Shadows in a new trailer. The video highlights key features including support for upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, compatibility with ultra-wide monitors, and the inclusion of ray tracing effects (RTGI and RT Reflections). Extensive settings are also provided for players with less powerful PCs.

A built-in benchmark tool is incorporated for performance testing and optimization. Minimum specifications for 1080p/30 FPS gameplay include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 CPU, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8GB) GPU. High-end configurations targeting 4K/60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing require an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and an RTX 4090 (24GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft and Intel collaborated on optimizing the game for Intel processors. Post-launch performance analysis on AMD systems is planned. The community anticipates improved performance compared to previous Assassin's Creed titles, building on the smoother experience seen in Mirage, a marked improvement over Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla's performance.

Assassin's Creed Shadows launches on March 20th for PC and consoles.
