Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has been captivating gamers for over a month now, and Ubisoft is set to enhance the experience with a robust lineup of updates. On May 1, Ubisoft shared their year 1 post-launch roadmap via Twitter (X), highlighting the new story and gameplay content on the horizon.
One of the most exciting features is the introduction of Story Drops, a series of free content updates that will enrich the game. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."
In addition to these free updates, Ubisoft is also gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This expansion will take players to the new region of Awaji Island, which becomes accessible after the base game's epilogue. Players can look forward to encountering new enemies, acquiring new abilities for both protagonists, and wielding an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
