Battlecruisers Marks 4th Anniversary with Trans Edition Update

Battlecruisers is marking its fourth anniversary with a bang, as Mecha Weka unveils the monumental 'Trans Edition' update, known as Battlecruisers 6.4. This update brings a plethora of new content, enhancing both single-player and multiplayer experiences.

What’s in Store in Battlecruisers 6.4 Trans Edition?

The 'Trans Edition' introduces three new cruisers: Goatherd, Pistol, and Megalith, each bringing unique capabilities to the battlefield. Additionally, two new buildings, Cannon and Sledgehammer, and two new units, SpyPlane and MissileFighter, are now available, expanding strategic options for players.

Existing cruisers aren't left behind; they receive new customization options with three fresh bodykits: Longbow Fringe, Rickshaw Scathis, and Yeti Corpse Piler, allowing players to personalize their fleet like never before.

In skirmishes, players can now select Man o’ War, Huntress Prime, and Fortress Prime, adding variety to the combat scenarios. PvP matches have been refined with a new countdown start and aircraft trails that now match the player's colors, enhancing the visual and tactical experience.

Balancing is a key focus in this update. Notable buffs include the Raptor’s shield build and recharge rate increasing from 3x to 5x, and the Hammerhead’s health boosting from 4000 to 4200. The ShipTurret sees a damage increase from 40 to 60, although its range is reduced from 19 to 16, reflecting the developers' commitment to fine-tuning gameplay.

Visual enhancements are also part of the package, with underwater transparency allowing players to admire the wreckage of their defeated foes. The sea now features improved shading, and cruiser and ship destruction sequences are more visually impressive than ever.

Played the Game Yet?

Since its launch in 2021, Battlecruisers has consistently delivered major updates annually. The 'Trans Edition' continues this tradition by adding more side quests and introducing a mysterious Battlefortress hidden in the South Pacific, promising even more adventure.

Set in a flooded Earth in the year 2732, the game's universe is populated by robots engaged in construction and warfare. As a player, you command your own Battlecruiser, equipping it with turrets, nuke launchers, and ultraweapons to fend off a formidable array of enemies.
