The Terminator event in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 introduces a game-changing Full Auto mod for the AEK-973 marksman rifle, breathing new life into this previously underperforming weapon. This guide details how to unlock this attachment.
Unlocking the Full Auto Mod:
The Full Auto mod is an event reward within the limited-time Terminator event, available until February 20th. After this date, its acquisition method may change.
To obtain it, players must collect 50 Skulls. Skulls are earned by:
- Multiplayer and Zombies: Eliminating enemies in Black Ops 6 Multiplayer and Zombies modes has a chance to drop Skulls.
- Warzone: Opening loot caches in Warzone provides a chance to find Skulls.
Fastest Methods for Skull Acquisition:
- Zombies: Playing Zombies with the Rampage Inducer, reaching Round 6, then quitting and repeating is a highly efficient method.
- Warzone Resurgence Solos: Quickly opening loot caches in Resurgence Solos offers a rapid Skull accumulation rate.
Once you've accumulated 50 Skulls, redeem them for the Full Auto mod in the event tab.
Full Auto Mod Functionality:
The Full Auto mod transforms the AEK-973 from a burst-fire weapon into a full-auto weapon, utilizing 5.45 ammunition at a high rate of fire. It also pairs well with the 5.45 Extended Mag for up to 45 rounds per magazine.
Trade-offs:
While the increased fire rate significantly improves the time-to-kill, the Full Auto mod reduces the AEK-973's damage and effective range. Its handling remains unchanged; consider using attachments to improve this aspect or utilize it at medium to long ranges.
