Paul Raschid's *The Run* has finally arrived on iOS, leaving me caught between curiosity and the impulse to delete it before even starting. If you read my previous article this month, you'll know this title has been on my mind. It's a full-motion video thriller that transforms a peaceful morning run into a deeply unsettling experience.

Set against the deceptively tranquil backdrop of Lake Garda, *The Run* follows a fitness influencer whose perfect routine descends into nightmare. One moment you're immersed in postcard-perfect scenery; the next, you're being pursued by strangers with unknown motives.

Frankly, I wouldn't last long. I'd likely run straight into a tree before the plot even thickened. Every choice you make drives the narrative forward or brings it to a sudden end. There are no do-overs—just the mounting tension of knowing each misstep could be your last.

Raschid, the creator behind *Five Dates*, *The Complex*, and *The Gallery*, has a talent for weaving interactivity into unease. This time, however, the feeling is reportedly more intense. It's claustrophobic and immediate, like being trapped inside a film that never pauses.

With over three and a half hours of footage, branching storylines, and numerous ways to fail, *The Run* feels less like an invitation to play and more like a dare.

The cast is led by Roxanne McKee (Game of Thrones) and George Blagden (Vikings), with unexpected cameos from Dario Argento and Franco Nero—because why not have two icons of Italian cinema witness your poor survival choices?

*The Run* is available now on iOS for £9.99 / €9.99 / $9.99. Android and PC versions are coming soon. If you need to decompress after all that adrenaline, consider browsing our list of the best horror games on iOS, though I can't guarantee it'll help you sleep any better.
