Disney Mirrorverse, the mobile game featuring a unique blend of Disney and Pixar characters in a new universe, is shutting down. Developer Kabam announced the game's end-of-service (EOS) date as December 16th, 2024.
The game has already been removed from the Google Play Store, and all in-app purchases are disabled. Players have approximately three months of gameplay remaining before the servers are permanently closed.

Initial excitement surrounding the game, particularly among Disney fans, waned due to a lengthy beta period and infrequent content updates. This resulted in player attrition.
The Unexpected Disney Mirrorverse EOS Announcement
The game's potential was never fully realized. The demanding shard collection system hindered character progression unless significant in-game purchases were made. However, the game's character designs, both artistically and graphically, were highly praised.
The EOS announcement is particularly disappointing given the recent release of new story content and the addition of Cinderella as a playable character just a week prior. This abrupt shutdown surprised many players.
This isn't Kabam's first EOS announcement; they previously shut down Transformers: Forged to Fight and a Marvel Contest of Champions spin-off unexpectedly.
