As detailed in the announcement, Season 3 will begin on April 3, with a full season breakdown expected next week. This schedule comes as a surprise to many players, as the timer on the active Battle Pass originally pointed to a new season starting on March 20.
Expectations are soaring for the new season. Activision has long hinted at the fan-favorite Verdansk map making a comeback and confirmed its planned return this spring. Just recently, a preview in the Call of Duty store hinted that "The Verdansk Collection" will be available from March 10, strongly signaling the map's imminent return.
Players can look forward to a comprehensive season preview next week, likely coinciding with the March 10 release of "The Verdansk Collection." In the meantime, Season 2 continues to deliver substantial content, including five new multiplayer maps, the revival of Gun Game, fresh weapons and operators, and a special Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event.
