Adjusting Your Palico's Voice in Monster Hunter Wilds
Nothing's quite as unsettling as a house cat speaking fluent human, is it? Fortunately, in Monster Hunter Wilds, you have control over your Palico's vocalizations. Here's how to modify your furry companion's language:
There are two methods for changing your Palico's language: through the in-game settings menu or via the character creator.
Method 1: Game Settings
- Access the in-game menu by pressing the Options button.
- Navigate to "Game Settings."
- Select the "Audio" tab.
- Locate the "Palico Language" option.
- Choose between "Felyne Language" (meows and purrs, with subtitles) or "Set Voice Type" (your game's language).
Method 2: Character Creator
- Return to your tent.
- Access the character creator from the menu.
- While customizing your Palico's appearance, you can also select its language preference. You can also adjust its voice pitch and tone here.
Gameplay isn't affected by this choice, so select whichever option suits your preference. While "Felyne Language" offers a charming and immersive experience, constantly reading subtitles might prove inconvenient. Using "Set Voice Type" provides convenience, especially during battles. The decision is entirely yours.
