The second part of the latest Wonder Pick event in Pokemon TCG Pocket is now in full swing, running until February 21st. This event introduces a delightful array of new Chimchar-themed accessories and a classic Poke Ball avatar icon for players to collect. Alongside these exciting additions, the event also offers a series of missions designed to help you snag all the new goodies.
If you're a fan of Chimchar, this Wonder Pick event is a must-participate. You can now add a Chimchar Pokemon coin, card sleeve, and playmat to your collection, each featuring Chimchar's evolutions, Monferno and Infernape. While Chimchar might not crack my personal top 100 Pokemon list, these accessories certainly add a fiery charm to the game.
For those less enthusiastic about flaming monkeys, the Poke Ball icon might catch your eye. Though it may seem a bit plain, it's an essential item in every deck and could serve as a stylish avatar choice. Personally, I'll stick with my knitted Electrode until something more thrilling comes along.
It's Monkey Business in Pokemon TCG Pocket
The missions in this event are straightforward yet rewarding. Complete six Wonder Picks and collect 10 Fire and Psychic-Type Pokemon to fulfill the objectives. Each Wonder Pick rewards you with 100 Trade Tokens, and completing the other missions will earn you various amounts of Event Shop Tickets. With determination and a stockpile of Wonder Hourglasses, you can quickly achieve these goals.
Even if you're late to the party, don't worry—all the goodies from the first part of the event, including a Chimchar backdrop and cover, as well as a Cave of Crystals backdrop, are available until February 21st. Additionally, you can still grab the promo cards featuring Chimchar and the adorable Togepi.
