The first DLC for Civilization VII, titled *Crossroads of the World*, will be released in two parts during March. In the first installment, players will take control of Great Britain and Carthage, and they'll meet Ada Lovelace, a computer pioneer and new leader in the game. Three weeks later, the second phase will introduce Simon Bolivar as a leader, along with new civilizations Bulgaria and Nepal.
The next DLC, *Right to Rule*, is slated for release between the second and third quarters of 2025 (April to September). This expansion will add two more leaders, four new civilizations, and natural wonders to the game.
Firaxis is committed to enhancing and expanding Civilization VII with new challenges and events. In March, players can look forward to new in-game events and natural wonders, including the Bermuda Triangle and Mount Everest.

Civilization VII will be available across multiple platforms, including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Deluxe and Founders Edition owners will enjoy early access starting February 6, five days ahead of the general release. A zero-day patch will be available on launch day to ensure a smooth gaming experience.
Firaxis Games and publisher 2K have announced that Sid Meier's turn-based 4X strategy game, Civilization VII, has reached gold status. This milestone indicates that the core development is complete, and barring any unexpected issues, the game will not face further delays.
The latest entry in the iconic series, Civilization VII, is set to launch on February 11. It has been confirmed that the game will be compatible with all modern platforms, including the Steam Deck.
