Relic Entertainment, known for the Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War series, also boasts a strong legacy with its Company of Heroes franchise. The original mobile port lacked multiplayer, a significant omission now rectified.
The iOS Company of Heroes page confirms the arrival of online skirmish mode as a beta feature. Players can now engage in head-to-head battles using factions inspired by real-world World War II militaries, including Americans, Germans, British (UK), and Panzer Elite (from the Opposing Fronts expansion).
