Confirmed: Robert Pattinson Will Not Be the DCU Batman

James Gunn and Peter Safran have confirmed that The Brave and the Bold will introduce a new Batman to the DC Universe (DCU), explicitly excluding Robert Pattinson.

During a DC Studios presentation, Safran and Gunn clarified that Pattinson's Batman remains exclusive to Matt Reeves' "The Batman Epic Crime Saga." Gunn stated definitively, "It's certainly not the plan. No." Safran elaborated, emphasizing the necessity of introducing a distinct Batman into the DCU, making it a key objective of The Brave and the Bold.

Earlier speculation regarding Pattinson's potential DCU-wide role stemmed from Reeves' ambiguous comments earlier this year. However, Reeves himself has focused on his own "Epic Crime Saga," stating his intention to develop that storyline independently.
