Even after defeat, he transforms, continuing his puppet summoning.
Candy Apple Cookie wields a giant lollipop, crushing enemies and reducing their attack and defense. His attack creates HP shields for allies and boosts their attack. The lollipop shards further increase enemy damage vulnerability, making him a powerful asset.
The Spire of Shadows storyline incorporates the Confusion and Distortion mechanics from Stage 7-4. Confusion increases damage taken by the team, while simultaneously boosting Shadow Milk and Candy Apple Cookies. The Domain of Deceit effect, present in certain stages, reduces damage taken by these Cookies, adding strategic complexity.
Players will also accompany Pure Vanilla Cookie on his journey to the Spire of All Knowledge, uncovering memories and secrets pivotal to the Cookie World's destiny. Completing this episode unlocks Bear Jelly Balloon expeditions, enabling the collection of Yeast Ore and increased Rainbow Pearls at the Trade Harbor.
A new event, Monster Menace, offers additional rewards such as Soulstones and Beascuits for clearing stages. The Monster Menace Marathon provides bonus rewards even after the event concludes, based on the number of stages completed.
