Dark and Darker Mobile, Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular extraction dungeon crawler, is gearing up for its soft launch in Canada on February 5th. A worldwide launch is expected in the first half of this year, bringing this thrilling dungeon-crawling experience to a global audience.
For the uninitiated, Dark and Darker blends the intensity of an extraction shooter with the strategic depth of a dungeon crawler. Players, either solo or in parties, take on the roles of classic fantasy archetypes – fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, bards, and more – venturing into a vast dungeon filled with monstrous creatures and rival players vying for the same loot.
Following the success of Ironmace's PC version, Krafton quickly secured the rights to develop the mobile adaptation. With a global release on the horizon, further refinements are being implemented to enhance the Dark and Darker experience.
Enhanced Gameplay Awaits
Significant improvements are planned, including overhauls to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, optimized for smoother party play. Class differentiation will also receive a boost, with enhanced basic attacks and combat mechanics. Expect a wider array of weapons and skills to further diversify gameplay.
