Rey Dau is your first encounter with a dragon monster in Monster Hunter Wilds. This creature wields the lightning element, rendering it immune to lightning-based attacks. However, it's vulnerable to other elements, particularly water and ice. Aim for its head, which boasts a 4-star weakness, or its wings, with a 3-star weakness, for the most effective attacks.
Avoid targeting its sturdy torso. If hitting the head proves challenging, focus on the tail instead. The legs are well-protected, making them a less ideal target. For status ailments, you can use all but Stun and Paralysis, as Rey Dau's lightning element makes stunning it futile.
