Dredge's Mobile Port Release Delayed: Beta Test Scheduled for December

Author : Aaron Dec 30,2024

Dredge's mobile release delayed until February 2025, but a new closed beta is now open!

Fans of Black Salt Games' Lovecraftian fishing horror, Dredge, will need to wait a bit longer for the mobile version. The release has been pushed back to February 2025. However, to soften the blow, Black Salt has opened sign-ups for a new closed beta test.

In Dredge, players take on the role of a fisherman in the unsettling town of Greater Marrow. What begins as simple fishing quickly descends into encounters with bizarre sea creatures, mysterious entities, and unsettling events on a nearby island. The game's unique blend of fishing and Lovecraftian horror has garnered significant critical acclaim.

A worthwhile wait?

The delay is understandable, given the complexity of porting such a rich and detailed game to mobile. The additional closed beta is a smart move, allowing for valuable player feedback and further refinement before the official launch. If the mobile version is anything like the acclaimed PC release, it will be well worth the wait.

Sign up for the closed beta via this Google form. In the meantime, explore Black Salt Games' YouTube channel for development insights and lore. Need something to play now? Check out our list of the best mobile games of 2024!
