It's always a disappointment when a beloved feature is removed from your favorite pastime, whether it's in gaming, tabletop games, or any other hobby. But today, we have the exciting news that a fan-favorite is making a comeback! In this case, Conflict of Nations: WW3 is reintroducing the much-loved clan vs. clan battles through Elite Challenges.

How do these Elite Challenges work? They are team-based battles where alliances can compete against each other. However, unlike standard alliance challenges, Elite Challenges have a unique twist: participants must be at least rank 25, and the use of gold, the game's premium currency, is strictly prohibited. This ensures a level playing field, making it the ultimate test of skill and strategy for Conflict of Nations enthusiasts.

To celebrate the return of this feature, two challenge maps will be available: the Mediterranean and Antarctica. These Elite Challenges will stand out from regular matches in Conflict of Nations by providing players with 2x starting resources, production, and access to the tech tree on day 10. This setup allows for larger armies and more diverse technological strategies.

World in conflictThe popularity of Elite Challenges among the player base is undeniable. However, as Dorado Games has noted, implementing these challenges became increasingly challenging as their player base grew. The fact that this mode completely eliminates the use of premium currency, creating an entirely level playing field, is likely to be a major draw for almost all players.
