Epic Games' Mobile Store Launch: Free Games and Exclusive Rewards!
Epic Games has finally launched its mobile store on Android worldwide, bringing popular titles and exclusive rewards to mobile gamers. This launch features a selection of exciting games, freebies, and in-game challenges.
Featured Mobile Games:
Epic is highlighting Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Rocket League Sideswipe. Fall Guys is now available for free download on mobile via the Epic Games Store.
Exclusive Mobile Rewards:
Downloading the Epic Games Store app and participating in featured games unlocks exclusive in-game cosmetics. These include a complete Fortnite outfit (outfit, back bling, pickaxe, and wrap), a new Fall Guys bean costume, a Fall Guys-themed Fortnite pickaxe, and a gold vehicle trim usable in both Fortnite and Rocket League Sideswipe. These rewards are exclusive to the mobile platform.
Beyond the Big Three:
The mobile Epic Games Store isn't limited to Epic's own titles. Nearly 20 third-party games are available, and a free games program has launched. Currently, Dungeon of the Endless: Apogee is free until February 20th on Android and iOS. Other Playdigious titles, Shapez and Evoland 2, are also available, with Cultist Simulator coming soon. Bloons TD 6 is also on the way. Epic plans to expand the free games program to a weekly offering later this year.
Increased Accessibility:
Despite challenges posed by Apple and Google's app store policies, Epic is making gaming more accessible with this mobile store launch.
