How to Beat All Monsters in E.R.P.O.

*E.R.P.O.* frequently introduces new monsters, so it's wise to bookmark this page for the latest updates. Below, you'll find detailed guides on how to deal with each monster. While there are general strategies, you can also use various weapons to combat them:

Melee Combat: You can purchase melee weapons like the Machete or Hammer from the shop for 10k to 20k cash. These will be available in your next level. Pick them up with M1 and swing them at monsters to inflict damage. Be cautious with monsters like the Huntsman, who can attack from a distance. Employ a hit-and-run tactic to minimize damage, and don't forget to bring healing packs for melee encounters.

Grenades and Mines: Available in the shop, Grenades and Mines can be powerful tools. To use a Grenade, pick it up with M1, uncork it with E, and either throw it or place it on the ground before retreating. The explosion can kill weaker monsters outright and severely damage stronger ones. Mines work similarly, but you need to place them on the ground and wait for a monster to trigger them.

Monster Brawl: You can cleverly manipulate monster interactions. For instance, you can bait a Huntsman to shoot another monster by positioning yourself behind it and making noise through walking or talking in Voice chat mode. The Huntsman will fire, potentially hitting the monster you're using as a shield. Similarly, you can pull Reapers during their attack animations to cause them to damage each other or other nearby monsters.

Robe Guide (Ghost)

The Robe, a large shadowy ghost, is dangerous upon contact. It will grab and damage you if you get too close. To survive, either crouch and hide or keep kiting it around. You can eliminate it using two Grenades or Mines by luring it into their blast radius. Melee combat is not advised as Robe inflicts significant damage. Be aware, it teleports and moves faster if you look directly at its mask.

Reaper Guide

The Reaper, a raggedy doll with sword-like arms, spins to damage you in melee. Unlike Robe, it doesn't teleport. You can kite it or avoid it, and it's more vulnerable to melee attacks since it doesn't deal as much damage. A single grenade, combined with a few hits, can take it down, and explosives will also stun it momentarily.

Apex Predator Guide (Duck)

These seemingly harmless ducks are non-hostile by default and will follow you around. However, they become aggressive if you grab or harm them, such as by an object falling on them. When provoked, they fly and bite, dealing low damage but relentlessly pursuing you. Outrunning them or using melee weapons are your best options. Grenades are overkill for these low-HP creatures.

Huntsman

The Huntsman, a blind gunman, can one-shot you. He relies on sound to locate you, so avoid speaking near him in Voice chat mode or walking loudly. Crouch and hide under tables to stay safe. Melee combat is risky as he has auto-aim. Instead, place a mine near his path or throw a grenade while crouched. The explosion will temporarily deafen him, giving you a window to attack with melee weapons.
