The Roland-Garros eSeries returns in 2025 with heightened excitement and a revamped format, inviting players worldwide to compete on the virtual clay courts of Tennis Clash. This year, the tournament introduces a team-based competition, with legendary tennis captains at the helm and a €5,000 prize pool up for grabs.

When Does It Start?
Mark your calendars—the Roland-Garros eSeries will launch in March, beginning with open qualifiers. The battle for a spot in the finals will take place over three qualifying stages from March 6-11, March 20-25, and April 3-8. These qualifiers will identify the elite contenders.
The top female players from the first two qualifiers will advance alongside the overall winners. The climax of the competition will unfold at the Roland-Garros Tenniseum Auditorium on May 24th, with a live audience and a full stream on Twitch.
What’s New This Year?
The 2025 Roland-Garros eSeries brings a fresh team-based format to the competition. Instead of individual play, finalists will form teams led by iconic figures in French tennis. Gilles Simon, former ATP world No. 6 and Davis Cup champion, is confirmed as one of the captains. Simon, who has served as a commentator since 2023 and played in the 2024 Top 8, will coach one of the squads. The identity of the other captain remains a mystery, but it’s hinted to be a Grand Slam winner.

Once the teams are set, the competition intensifies. The victorious team from the initial phase will enter the double-elimination bracket from the winner’s side, while the defeated team begins in the loser’s bracket.
Alessandro ΔLEX Bianco, the defending champion, returns to defend his title, joined by the two Grand Tour finalists. With last year's record-breaking participation of 548,000 players from 215 territories, the 2025 event promises even more fierce competition.
