Subway Surfers celebrates its 13th anniversary this month, and SYBO is rolling out an exciting update for players worldwide. Embark on a global journey with the Subway Surfers 13th Anniversary event, starting May 12th.
Returning to the Game’s Roots
The adventure begins in Copenhagen. The 13th Anniversary update introduces fresh content in the Danish capital, launching a unique daily city-hopping challenge.
Players will dash through Copenhagen and unlock up to 21 other vibrant cities, including Paris, Rio, Tokyo, London, Los Angeles, and Hawaii. Collect World Tour suitcase tokens in each city to unlock the next destination.
This update marks the 200th stop in the World Tour series, which began in 2013. Currently, the game is in Osaka, celebrating Golden Week with vibrant neon lights, traditional elements, and exclusive content.
New characters Saru and Oni Hime debut in Osaka. Saru is available through the Season Challenge, while Oni Hime can be unlocked via a special offer. New social features, including Player Names and Friend Lists, are also being introduced.
Celebrate 13 Years of Subway Surfers
Since its launch on May 23rd, 2012, Subway Surfers has attracted 150 million monthly players and over four billion downloads globally, earning a spectacular anniversary celebration. After 12 years and 199 cities, the game continues to unite players worldwide with stunning local landscapes.
From May 12th to June 1st, players can chase exclusive content, including two new travel-themed characters, Loc and Stevie, along with fresh outfits, hoverboards, and rewards.
