Amazon's Fallout TV series gears up for season two! Filming begins this November, expanding on season one's cliffhanger ending.
Fallout Season 2: Filming Commences, Cast Uncertainties Remain
The highly anticipated second season of Amazon Prime's Fallout adaptation is officially entering production next month, as confirmed by returning cast member Leslie Uggams (Betty Pearson) in an interview with Screen Rant. While Uggams' return is confirmed, the full cast list remains undisclosed. Lead actors Ella Purnell (Lucy MacLean) and Walton Goggins (Cooper "The Ghoul" Howard) are expected to reprise their roles, though official confirmation is pending.
Uggams offered a tantalizing hint about her character's arc in season two: "I am with the Vault People, so I didn’t get to see what the Earth people were doing," she revealed. "So when it came on, I was blown away. But Betty’s got some things up her sleeve. Just stay tuned."
A tentative release date of 2026 has been suggested, factoring in filming and post-production timelines. However, this remains unofficial. For comparison, Fallout season one filmed around July 2022 and premiered in April 2024.
