How To Upgrade Weapons In Freedom Wars Remastered
Weapon upgrades unlock upon reaching Level 002 Code Clearance in the main story. This grants CODE 2 Sinners access to the Facility Management Function via the Personal Responsibility Portal. The Weapon Development Facility allows comprehensive weapon management. Upgrading requires resources and Entitlement Points, costs reduced by enlisting a Citizen with Facility Manager Aptitude. While it may seem complex initially, the process is surprisingly straightforward.
Before upgrading, a preview screen shows stat changes. The facility also enables Element addition and Module/Module Slot experimentation. Higher Grade weapon upgrades require permits purchased from the Claim Entitlement tab in the Window of Liberty.
Should You Upgrade Weapons In Freedom Wars Remastered?
Early main story missions offer limited high-Grade weapon rewards. While Zakka in The Warren sells weapons, they're mostly Grade 1, making upgrading crucial. A CODE 3 Exam requires higher Grade Development Facility Permits, enabling weapon upgrades and allowing you to focus on a single weapon, donating lower-grade finds for reduced sentences and extra Entitlement Points.
