Google Play Store Might Soon Auto-Launch Installed Apps For You

Google Play Store may soon introduce a game-changing feature: automatic app launch upon installation. This potential addition, discovered through an APK teardown of Play Store version 41.4.19, is currently unconfirmed but promises a smoother user experience.

The Details:

According to Android Authority, the feature, tentatively named "App Auto Open," will offer users the convenience of automatically opening newly downloaded apps. This eliminates the extra steps of locating the app icon and verifying successful installation. The app will launch immediately upon completion of the download process.

Importantly, this feature will be entirely optional. Users will have complete control, enabling or disabling auto-launch as preferred.

How it Will Work:

Upon successful app download, a notification banner will briefly appear (approximately 5 seconds) at the top of the screen. Your device may also provide an audible or haptic alert to ensure you don't miss the notification.

Release Date:

While the information remains unofficial, we will provide updates as soon as Google releases an official announcement regarding the release date and further details.
