Author : Blake May 23,2025

After a delay earlier this year, the much-anticipated open-world mobile shooter, Grand Outlaws, has finally made its soft launch debut in the US. Hardbit Studio announced that starting May 15th, the game is available exclusively on Google Play for Android users in the US. While the rest of the world eagerly awaits their turn, this initial rollout marks a significant milestone for the game.

The developers at Hardbit Studio utilized the extra development time to enhance the game significantly. They expanded the locations, boosted performance, and added more content, resulting in a richer and more stable experience. This groundwork is crucial as it paves the way for the game’s full global release later this year.

At launch, Grand Outlaws offers three engaging core modes: Battle Royale, Racing, and Deathmatch. Each mode is designed for quick, intense gameplay, featuring mobile-friendly controls and easy access to an array of weapons, vehicles, and customization options. Players can seamlessly switch between these modes or explore the open world at their leisure.

Currently, the soft launch is limited to Android devices, but Hardbit Studio has outlined a comprehensive multi-platform release strategy. The game is slated for a full Android and Epic Store launch in July or August, followed by an iOS and PC release on Steam and Epic in October. Looking further ahead, console versions for PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch are planned for 2026, with cross-platform play also in the works.

Hardbit Studio is committed to keeping the game fresh and engaging with planned content updates. These will include new modes such as Heists and Destruction Derby, live events, a cinematic story mode, and enhanced customization options for characters and hideouts. Additionally, the studio is exploring brand collaborations and seasonal content to keep the gameplay experience dynamic and exciting.

Sergey Agafonov, the Lead Game Designer, shared his enthusiasm about the game, stating, "Here, you can shoot money from a gun, steal a car dressed as Buttman, and win a Battle Royale — all before your coffee gets cold."

For now, US Android users have the exclusive opportunity to dive into the world of Grand Outlaws starting May 15th.
