One such hidden gem is the brief yet memorable encounter with Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress. This unique romance occurs during a bustling segment of the game, making it easy to miss. In this guide, we'll walk you through where to find Naoise and how to initiate this captivating romance in Baldur's Gate 3.
Where to Find Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
### Visit Sharess' Caress in Act III:
To encounter Naoise, you'll need to progress to the early stages of Act III. As you journey toward Baldur's Gate, you'll pass through Wyrm's Crossing. Your initial visit to this area requires a meeting with Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a local brothel located on the eastern side of the bridge leading into the city.
If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, you can use the South Span of Wyrm's Crossing fast-travel point, which will take you directly to Sharess' Caress.
Look for Nymph's Grotto:
You'll find Naoise in the Nymph's Grotto, a special chamber on the second floor. To access it, pass through the door to the outside area; the correct door is marked by a green light and ivy-covered walls. It's locked, but a lock-picking roll of 10 or higher will grant you entry.
How to Romance Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3
### Interact with Naoise:
Upon entering, approach the bed where Naoise is engaged in an intimate moment with Jara, a Flaming Heart soldier. Your intrusion will prompt Jara to confront you, triggering a telepathic interaction between your tadpoles. Choose the dialogue option:
- "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken."
Jara will mention the Absolute before transforming into a Mindflayer, which you must defeat. After the battle, Naoise's attention shifts to you, expressing her fascination with Mindflayers. Respond with:
- "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset."
An Insight check will reveal Naoise's readiness for romance. Continue with:
- "That creature aroused you, didn't it?"
Avoid judgmental responses. Naoise will express her anticipation for the Mindflayer but openness to other experiences. Proceed with:
- "What did you have in mind?"
- "Close your eyes and listen"
This encounter unfolds entirely within your mind. Naoise will ask you to choose your desired state:
- Revered
- Contented
- Powerful
- Rich
- I think we're done here.
Selecting 'Contented' leads to a brief romance scene. Post-encounter, Naoise will have no further interest in you, stating she can offer 'rapture' only once. Interestingly, this encounter doesn't affect existing relationships, as seen with our character's ongoing romance with Karlach.
Shadowheart will grant you the 'Carnal Rituals of Sharess' inspiration point after the encounter.
Upon successfully romancing Naoise, you'll receive the Rapture boon, providing a passive 1d6 bonus to nearly all ability checks.
