Harry Potter: Hogwarts Mystery's 2024 Halloween update has arrived, bringing a spooky celebration to Hogwarts! Throughout October and November, players can enjoy a Dark Arts-themed event featuring new locations, eerie decorations, and exciting challenges.
A Spooky Celebration
The Halloween spirit permeates Hogwarts and Diagon Alley, transformed with festive decorations. This year's Halloween festivities include a house-specific pumpkin hunt offering magical rewards before October 31st, and a Creature Expedition where you'll encounter the fearsome Acromantula.
New Challenges and Creatures
A special adventure features the Swooping Evil, a terrifying creature from Fantastic Beasts, which has infiltrated Hogwarts Castle. Players must assist Hagrid in capturing it before disaster strikes. A new side quest, "The Vampire of Hogsmeade," involves investigating vampire activity near Hogwarts, with Professor Dumbledore even restricting access to Hogsmeade. Unlocking the One-Eyed Witch statue will reveal the mystery hidden within the fog.
New Hogwarts Diary Feature
The update introduces the Hogwarts Diary, a new feature involving in-game puzzles. Completing these puzzles unlocks magical artwork revealed through enchanted inkwells, unveiling a captivating story. Your journey begins in the library with Madam Pince, where you'll search for the Lost Spore Scrolls, revealing secrets about Hogwarts' magical fungi and its former headmistress, Professor Phyllida Spore.
