The game centers around Zelda, alongside key figures like Rauru, Sonia, and the other Secret Stone holders. This marks the third installment in the Hyrule Warriors series, following the original Hyrule Warriors and Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, which was a prequel to The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Age of Calamity stood out with its slightly unexpected narrative twist on the Breath of the Wild story, making it fascinating to see how Age of Imprisonment might deviate from the established lore.
