As is customary, miHoYo (now known as HoYoverse) seems to be a step behind the curve, with insiders already leaking concept art and gameplay details well in advance. However, this time, the buzz is all about Varesa, and it's not just another leak—it's an official reveal! Varesa is set to join the roster as a 5-star Electro character, wielding a Catalyst in her battles.

Iansan describes her in this way:
"Varesa, my most peculiar student… No one matches her easygoing, carefree nature. No matter where she travels, she’s like a child on an adventure—always searching for delicious treats or a cozy spot to rest... But beware! If you ever fight Abyss monsters with her, the moment she gets into the zone, she turns into an unstoppable force!"
Alongside Varesa, another character is making her debut in update 5.5—Iansan! Previously just an NPC, Iansan is stepping into the playable realm as a 4-star Electro user who wields a Polearm.
