RuneScape Unveils Exciting 2024-2025 Roadmap! Jagex has just dropped a major announcement detailing the upcoming content for RuneScape players in 2024 and 2025. The latest "RuneScape Ahead" video showcases a wealth of new features and updates. Let's take a closer look!
What's Coming?
Prepare for the arrival of Group Ironman mode, allowing you and up to four friends to embark on a collaborative adventure without external assistance. This highly anticipated feature launches later this year.
Autumn brings a challenging new Skilling Boss: The Gate of Elidinis. Players will ascend the Sanctum of Rebirth to discover a hidden shrine dedicated to the enigmatic goddess Elidinis, forming part of a larger story quest.
Multiple story quests are planned throughout 2024 and 2025. A winter quest will revisit classic storylines, leading players back to the desert for a confrontation with Amascut. This culminates in a brand-new end-game boss encounter against Amascut, the Devourer.
Over 110 skilling updates are in the pipeline! This year features Woodcutting & Fletching updates, including a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.
Seasonal events return with the debut of "Harvest Hollow" later this year, offering a new quest, spooky rewards, and seasonal activities. The beloved "Christmas Village" event will also make a comeback as the year ends, bringing festive quests, activities, and rewards.
Beyond 2024: A Look Ahead
A major area expansion is planned for late 2025, alongside many other player-requested features. This includes new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a new Slayer Monster.
