January 2025 Gacha Game Revenue: Genshin Impact Leads the Pack
The gacha game market continues to generate significant revenue, with January 2025 figures revealing some interesting trends. Genshin Impact, boosted by a major update featuring the Pyro Archon and the highly anticipated Mawuika banner, saw a remarkable surge in revenue, doubling its December 2024 earnings to a staggering $99.4 million.

Trailing behind Genshin Impact, Pokémon TCG secured a strong second-place finish with $64 million in revenue. Love and Deepspace, a popular "female gacha" title, completed the top three, generating $55.2 million.
Honkai: Star Rail experienced a dip in revenue, earning $50.8 million, while Zenless Zone Zero saw a significant decrease, with its revenue halved to $26.3 million compared to the previous month's $57.9 million.
It's important to note that this ranking considers only mobile platform revenues. Furthermore, the data incorporates an estimation method for Android revenue in China due to the absence of Google Play in that market, using a multiplier based on iOS revenue within the country.
