LEGO has thrilled fans by announcing the launch of a new Simpsons-themed Krusty Burger set. This minifigure-scale set is brimming with Easter eggs and nods to the show's classic era, making it a must-have for collectors and fans alike. Priced at $209.99, the LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger set is designed for the 18+ age range. While it's not available for preorder yet, LEGO Insiders can secure Early Access starting June 1 (sign up for free here), with the general release following on June 4.
This marks the first Simpsons-themed LEGO build since 2018, following the release of two small Brickheadz models featuring Homer Simpson and Krusty the Clown. Before that, the LEGO Simpsons lineup included only two sets: the 2,523-piece Simpsons house from 2014 and the 2,179-piece Kwik-E-Mart from 2015, both of which are now retired. The announcement of the Krusty Burger set has come as a pleasant surprise, reviving a LEGO franchise many thought was discontinued.
LEGO The Simpsons: Krusty Burger
The Krusty Burger set is made up of 1,635 pieces and measures 9 inches tall, 9.5 inches wide, and 7.5 inches deep. Its design, reminiscent of McDonald's, features a drive-thru menu and window. The model opens on a hinge to showcase detailed interiors including a kitchen, bathroom, and dining area. Additionally, the set includes two separate buildable elements: the iconic Krusty Burger sign on a tall pole and Homer's Krusty-fied car from the Season Six episode "Homie the Clown."
Accompanying the build are seven minifigures: Homer Simpson, Bart Simpson, Lisa Simpson, Farmer Krusty the Clown, Sideshow Bob, the Squeaky Voiced Teen, and Officer Lou. LEGO Insiders who purchase the set from either the online or brick-and-mortar LEGO Store between June 1 and June 7 will receive a special gift with purchase: a 123-piece set of The Simpsons Living Room, available while supplies last.
