Several months ago, LEGO Ideas invited fans to submit designs celebrating iconic 1990s nostalgia. The winning entry of their "Build Your Nostalgia" contest has now been revealed—an impressive X-Files themed set paying homage to the classic sci-fi series. This fan-designed creation will undergo refinement through LEGO's official development process before its eventual retail release.
X-Files LEGO Set Officially Greenlit

Designed by creator WetWired, "The X-Files: The Truth Is Out There" set features a dual-level diorama—a mysterious forest UFO encounter above Agent Mulder's signature basement office below. The current prototype contains approximately 2,020 pieces and seven detailed minifigures.
