NetEase Games' Marvel Rivals kicks off Season 1: Eternal Night Falls with a generous surprise: free Peni Parker and Scarlet Witch skins! Dracula's attack on New York City necessitates the Fantastic Four's intervention, setting the stage for this thrilling season running from January 10th to April 11th, 2025.
The Fantastic Four bolster the game's roster, with Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman available at launch. Human Torch and The Thing are slated for a mid-season update, potentially adding a Duelist and another Vanguard, respectively (unconfirmed).
Players can earn free cosmetic rewards, including the Peni Parker's Blue Tarantula skin (page three of the battle pass) and Scarlet Witch's Emporium Matron skin (page nine). While the full battle pass costs 990 Lattice (approximately $10), completing quests and earning Chrono Tokens unlocks these free skins. Note that Scarlet Witch's MVP animation requires the premium battle pass. A separate Midnight Features event offers a free Thor skin through quest completion.
The in-game shop features premium skins for Invisible Woman (Malice – a black and red villainous look) and Mister Fantastic (The Maker – dark gray with blue accents and a mask).
