This super-sized season includes:
- Three new maps: Explore iconic New York City locations like the Sanctum Sanctorum (launching with Season 1 and featuring the new Doom Match mode), Midtown (for Convoy missions), and Central Park (details to be revealed later).
- The Fantastic Four: Mister Fantastic (Duelist) and Invisible Woman (Strategist) debut on January 10th, with The Thing and Human Torch arriving in a major mid-season update approximately six to seven weeks later.
The decision to release the Fantastic Four together, as explained by Creative Director Guangyun Chen, accounts for the season's extended length and content. While the impact on future seasons remains unclear, the current plan is to add two new heroes or villains per season.
