In the dynamic world of Monster Hunter Now, Niantic is introducing an exciting new feature for testing called Monster Outbreaks. This feature is designed to gather player feedback and refine the experience before its official rollout. Are you ready to dive into this thrilling event?
When Is the Monster Outbreaks Testing in Monster Hunter Now?
The testing phase for Monster Outbreaks will run from April 26th to 27th, offering a brief but intense window of opportunity. The event will occur twice daily on both Saturday and Sunday, from 10:00 to 10:59 a.m. and again from 3:00 to 3:59 p.m., all in your local time. This is your chance to engage with the game in a new and challenging way.
During these times, specific outbreak points on the map will become hotspots for 8-star Black Diablos. Your mission? Team up with other players and take down 100 of these formidable creatures at each outbreak location within the one-hour window. Note that this is not a global total but a local goal at each outbreak point. To participate, you must have a Hunter Rank (HR) of 11 or higher, and only in-person group hunts are valid—no party feature allowed here.
Outbreak points are easily identifiable on the map with a unique icon. Simply tap on them to view the details and sign up on the roster to coordinate your hunting plans with others. This feature ensures you can find and join forces with fellow hunters seamlessly.
Black Diablos Is Rolling Up with Serious Boss Energy, in Swarm Mode!
The mechanics of the Monster Outbreaks are fascinating. If you and three other hunters take down one Black Diablos, that counts as four towards the 100 needed to reach the goal. And if your group hits the 100 mark before the hour is up, you can continue hunting for the remainder of the time, with only Black Diablos spawning during these outbreaks.
The rewards for successfully completing the challenge are enticing. If your group manages to slay 100 monsters, you'll earn 3 Black Diablos Tailcases, 3 Ridges, 3 Primeshells, 3 Marrows, and 2,000 Zenny. Additionally, using the sign-up roster can earn you a special Outbreak Test I Medal, adding a unique trophy to your collection.
Are you eager to join the Monster Outbreaks testing? Head over to the Google Play Store, download Monster Hunter Now, and gear up for an action-packed weekend of hunting.
