Monster Hunter Now is gearing up for an exciting Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, set to launch on March 6th, 2025. Niantic has unveiled a plethora of new content and features that are sure to enhance your hunting adventures. From new monsters to weapon adjustments and a Season Pass, there's plenty to look forward to in this upcoming season.
Getting Ready for Monster Hunter Now Season 5
Before the official start of Season 5, get ready for a special treat with the arrival of Chatacabra on February 28th. This monster is making its grand debut ahead of its first-ever appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. When the season kicks off, you'll also encounter Glavenus and Arzuros joining the fray, adding more variety and challenge to your hunts.
Weapons in Monster Hunter Now are set to receive balance tweaks designed to make every weapon type more viable and enjoyable. The Sword & Shield, for instance, will get a buff that makes targeting breakable parts like tails easier. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will now reward well-timed taps with enhanced performance, resulting in more satisfying combos. Additionally, the Guard skill is receiving a significant boost; higher skill levels will now effectively reduce damage when blocking. Stay tuned for more details on these tweaks, which will be fully revealed in the patch notes on March 6th.
And There Is More!
If you often find your inventory overflowing, Season 5 brings good news with the introduction of an Item Box Expansion available as a Supply Item. This expansion will provide an additional 250 slots, giving you more room to store your hard-earned loot.
To celebrate Monster Hunter Now’s 1.5-Year Anniversary, a new feature will roll out on March 17th. This feature allows you to trade special materials earned from hunts and events for a variety of rewards. Look forward to acquiring Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
